The vast majority of our jewels are made of 925 Sterling Silver and covered with a layer of 18k gold plating or gold Vermeil. In some cases, the products are made of brass and covered in a resiliant layer of either 925 Sterling Silver, gold or gold vermeil. However, no matter the base, all our jewels are carefully made, high-quality products with a fine jewelry finish.

Gold vermeil vs. gold plating

As for our gold vermeil plated jewels, you might be wondering what's the difference between the gold plated and gold vermeil.

Easy: They both mean the same thing, a layer of gold. The difference is in the thickness of the layer. Our gold vermeil, in particular, is as thick as three microns, compared to the one or two microns that gold plated jewels have, which means that gold vermeil jewels are less likely to fade, tarnish, or wear off in time. In fact, compared to solid gold it is the next best choice for high quality gold jewelry.


Integrity of the products

To ensure the gold plating isn't damaged and the jewels maintain their integrity for a long time, do not expose the jewelry to water, perfumes, alcohol or any other substances. If exposed to any of the previously mentioned liquids, the gold used for plated jewels will deteriorate. Due to their close proximity to the skin and how closely they interact with the human body, we cannot guarantee that the gold plating will last forever. For these reasons it is advisable to know that gold-plated jewelry requires more care or, if your experience tells you that it does not last, choose Silver jewelry.

Solid gold

We currently have a small collection made of 18K solid gold and diamonds. The gold, in this case, lasts forever given that it's solid gold.

All our orders are prepared within a maximum period of 24 working hours. Shipments in 24-72 hours worldwide with our Premium Shipping method and free shipping over a certain amount with the Standard Shipping method.

Shipment tracking at all time

You will receive an email when our warehouse has your order ready to send and another from the courier company with all the information, so you can track the shipment and/or make any changes.

Easy and extended returns

We offer a 30 days period for changes and returns from receipt of the order. Manage the exchange or return request yourself in 2 simple steps and we will manage it within a maximum period of 48 working hours.

Free Change of size or product

So don't worry if the ring or necklace size isn't right or if you want to exchange it for another product.
In these cases the first change is totally free.

Quick return of your money

We manage refunds within 24-48 hours once we receive it in our warehouse and we make the refund through the same payment method used. The return time may vary according to the bank. This time is foreign to Aleyolé Jewelry.
